Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate

Sodium C14-C16 Olefin Sulfonate (AOS) is sulfate-free, anionic surfactant that have been commercially available in the US since 1965. They have used in a variety of cleansing products such as shampoos, bodywashes and facial cleansers. 

AOS are often selected as replacements for Lauryl sulfate based surfactants due to their biodegradation, foaming, detergency and mildness.
