🌀✨ hydrated curls with strength and shine ✨🌀
i’ve been using this shampoo for the past week with the matching conditioner and my hair’s been loving it. my curls feel soft, hydrated and properly clean without that dry, tight feeling some shampoos can leave behind.
it’s not a super foamy kind of shampoo, so if you’re used to lots of bubbles it might take a wash or two to get used to. i rub it together in my hands first before applying it to my scalp, which helps it spread evenly and brings out the scent more. in the bottle the scent is a bit plain, but once it’s rubbed and lathered slightly it turns into a fresher, cleaner smell that’s light, mineral and a bit aquatic, like that nice just-washed freshness without being perfumey.
the formula itself is quite well done. niacinamide helps keep the scalp balanced and creatine works to strengthen the strands. there’s a mix of seaweed extracts such as ascophyllum nodosum, chondrus crispus, laminaria saccharina and palmaria palmata that give hydration and shine. nettle and linden flower add a bit of scalp care and the mineral pca blend (magnesium, manganese, zinc, sodium pca) draws moisture into the hair so it feels softer for longer. it also includes bond-repairing ingredients similar to what you find in higher end treatments, which probably explains why my hair has felt smoother and less frizzy this week.
i tried it both ways, with pre-oiling and without, to see how it performed. my hair is on the moisture-hungry side so i preferred how it felt after pre-oiling, but even without that it still left my curls shiny and easy to detangle once conditioned. the shampoo cleanses properly without feeling harsh and the conditioner adds the perfect bit of slip and shine to finish.
price wise it’s in line with what i usually spend on curl-friendly shampoos, maybe a touch better value since you don’t need as much per wash. because it’s not heavy on the sulfates or fillers, it’s more concentrated and lasts longer.
the shine this combo gives is lovely, with soft defined curls that look healthy and feel balanced.

Good shampoo for the right hair type.
My son has thick wavy hair, which tends to run dry so I thought this might help him. He’s been using it for a couple of weeks and says it cleans well, but hasn’t done anything to improve his hair texture. He does feel his hair looks a little healthier now. It definitely has a very masculine scent that lingers. It is a quality shampoo, but I don’t think it was right for his hair necessarily.

Really nice shampoo, helped my curls
Curly Hair Shampoo for Men – Sulfate Free works really well. The first time I used it, I felt like my waves were more distinct and easier to maintain, but I thought maybe it was just beginners luck. Each time I used it, I felt like my waves were better and lasted longer. So then I went back to the shampoo I was using before, and my waves weren’t as good. So that proved it to me, this shampoo works. So I’m not a man and I don’t have “curly” hair – I have wavy hair. But this shampoo worked well for me. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get the conditioner to go with this. The cost of this is going to be higher than shampoos you can get at big box stores/ drug stores. When I looked up the brand I saw they had other options for curly and wavy hair, so I’ll definitely be looking into them. These are a bit higher than what I’d like to pay for haircare but I still think it’s a good value for the money. I’m not sure what makes a shampoo a mens shampoo vs women’s shampoo. This does have a typical mens product smell to it, but it’s not overwhelming or noticeable on my hair so I don’t mind. I also have shoulder length hair.

Great scent and VERY safety sealed!
“Curly Hair Shampoo for Men – Sulfate Free – 400ml (13.5 oz) – For daily use to enhance curls texture | Made in Canada” by CURLOOK is on par with other curly-hair shampoos I’ve tried, with a pleasant gender-neutral scent. I felt that it properly cleansed my hair and left it feeling moisturized. $20 for 400ml/13.5 oz is a bit steep for shampoo, but is a fair value compared to other curl-focused hair products. I felt that it had a rich lather and I had no issues applying it to my hair and washing it properly. Perfect for curly hair! I’m a 2c and I really do have to rave about the safety seal on this product, though! Not only was there a secure seal between the bottle and screw top, but it was also plastic-wrapped. This product is NOT going to leak in the box. I was very pleased by the care that CURLOOK took with this product to ensure that it was leak-free.

Left my curly hair frizzy
I have very curly spirals, so it’s often hard to find products that don’t dry it out and leave me with soft curls. (Note: my hair is still very damp in my photos).
Unfortunately, this product didn’t work as I’d hoped. Here’s a breakdown of what I liked and not so much liked:
Liked:
I love the smell. Like another review mentioned, I too got it no knowing it was marketed toward men with a masculine scent, but I actually really like it. I tend to like earthy, woody, herbal scents, so this works well for me in that regard.
I didn’t need much to get a rich lather and I didn’t need a conditioner to get the shower comb through my hair, so it does add moisture.
It’s a good-sized bottle, so it should last a while. My hair feels really clean.
What didn’t work so well for me:
As you can see in my photos, although my hair is still wet, it’s already frizzing up.
To be fair to the shampoo, I also used the same brand curl cream, so maybe that’s the culprit.
And many shampoos usually pair with a conditioner to get the full effect. I only got the shampoo and curl cream.
I also think it’s priced a little high. At this price point, I would’ve wanted less frizzing. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, which is also a plus.
Brighter (Amazon Customer) –
One of the best shampoos I tried.
I tried the Curlook Curly Hair Shampoo and it worked nicely for my curls. It lathers enough to feel like my hair is getting clean, but it does not leave that stripped, squeaky feeling afterward. My curls felt soft and light once my hair dried, not weighed down or frizzy.
I also like that it is sulfate free and made for curly hair, so I feel better using it regularly. The scent is mild and pleasant, and a little goes a decent way. Overall, I am happy with it and would use it again as a daily shampoo for curls.
Customer (Amazon Customer) –
Smells and Cleans Great
This is a great smelling men’s shampoo! I’ve been using it for a few weeks, and it cleans my hair well, without leaving any residue. It suds up well and rinses out easily. It doesn’t dry out my scalp and leaves my hair feeling fresh. I normally have pretty oily hair, and it comes out clean after one shampoo. I don’t have curly hair, so can’t speak to the overall curly aspect, but as a shampoo on its own it is great
The bottle is easy to open and close in the shower with wet hands and dispenses the right amount with a squeeze
Young (Amazon Customer) –
Strong scent
Scent is too strong for me. Otherwise seems of good quality. Best for curly hair as described.
enchantedtree (Amazon Customer) –
good for curly hair.
Both of my kids have curly hair. i got this shampoo thinking my son would like it. My daughter typically doesn’t like shampoo at all, and only uses dry shampoos and conditioners. She wanted to try this shampoo and she actually loves it. She has started using it with the same brand conditioner and said it really makes her curls light and not weighted down. It doesn’t dry out her hair or frizz it. She said her hair feels healthier with less dry ends.
My son also likes the shampoo, but cares less about his hair so doesn’t have much of an opinion on it. Scent is fine.
AC (Amazon Customer) –
Heavily fragranced
This review is for CurlLook Curly Hair Shampoo, which is made in Canada. This shampoo says it is for men but I don’t see why women couldn’t use it. I was lucky enough to get the conditioner at the same time and I will say I love the conditioner more than the shampoo.
The shampoo is a clear gel type, which tends to not be as moisturizing as the opaque or creamy white ones. It is light yellow and has a very perfumy scent. It smells like you are washing your hair with perfume, so it was a bit overpowering and lost a star for that.
The shampoo cleaned my hair well but did not leave it stripped.
At a price of $20.00 for 13.5 oz, I think this is an excellent value for the money, once I can get past the strong scent.
I did not experience any irritation when using the product and you can see the ingredient list in the final image.

Very hydrating and smells masculine
This shampoo is pretty nice. Its sulfate free and doesnt strip my hair. I have wavy hair and my husband has curly hair, so we are both prone to frizz. It’s medium-concentrated, so I don’t need to use much for my long hair, and it’s very efficient for short hair.
It claims to clean residue without stripping, and if definitely doesnt feel stripping or drying, which is good. It has a decent but not outrageous lather and a smell reminiscent of a body spray from the early 2000’s, but its more subtle and doesn’t stick around.
I didn’t really feel like it was super effective at removing residue (we are both athletes snd sweat a lot), but after my hair dried I changed my mind. My hair feels clean, soft, shiny, and hydrated. This may not work if you use a ton of hair product though.
S. Dargin (Amazon Customer) –
Nice Shampoo, Odd Smell, Poorly Bottled Up
It’s a medium lathering shampoo.
The smell is ok, more masculine, and woody, it’s hard to describe, not overly strong.
I’ve used it a few times now with my regular conditioner, not theirs.
I have frizzy, mildly big, curly hair, about shoulder-length. I do like how my hair feels afterwards; it’s smoother and softer than with other shampoos I’ve used.
The biggest problem with this is the bottle. It comes with a seal, which is good, so no spilling during shipping. However, removing the cap and taking the seal off was a struggle. Then, once off, the bottle makes it hard to dispense its thick contents, and the bottle (lack of air, maybe) collapses a bit. Hence, because of the struggles to use it, I would rate it a 3.5

I use it as a clarifying shampoo to remove product build up
While this CURLOOK Curly Hair Shampoo is formulated for curly hair, it’s unfortunately not Curly Girl Method approved since it contains Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate and Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, both of which are strong cleansers that can strip natural oils curly hair needs to stay moisturized. I’m not a strict Curly Girl follower, but I do like to be aware of the ingredients I’m using on my curls. Knowing this, I use it more as a clarifying shampoo to help remove product buildup, limiting its use to once or twice a month. I also follow it up with a rich conditioner and a leave-in treatment to restore hydration.
That said, the formula includes other beneficial ingredients that help moisturize, strengthen, and reduce frizz, so when used in moderation, my hair responds well to it. I also like the scent, and while it is more masculine, I think anyone could enjoy it.

Although it says men on the bottle with did a nice job on my girly curls as well.
I ordered the Curlook curly hair shampoo. I didn’t notice when I ordered it was specified for men. Oh well, I used it tonight anyway and it sudsed well, left my hair clean, soft and moisturized feeling. My curls appeared healthy and bouncy. The scent is pleasant as well.

Curly hair shampoo for men
This shampoo did an excellent job with cleaning my hair while also still leaving it hydrated and ready to style. It’s hard to find a shampoo that is designed for curly hair for men. From looking at the ingredients I also am confident it will keep my hair healthy and strong. I would order the Curlook brand again.
Collyflower (Amazon Customer) –
Thick gel consistency with dense, creamy lather
Although I’m not a man, I like a variety of different scents, including more cologne-inspired ones, like the scent of this curly hair shampoo (although it’s not too strong or overwhelming). The bottle is sizable, and I appreciate how it’s made in North America (Canada, specifically) and is vegan. The shampoo is nice and thick, like a gel consistency, a sign of good value (cheaper shampoos tend to be watered-down, of course). The shampoo lathered really nicely into a soft, dense white foam, and I felt like it really thoroughly got all of my strands coated as I scrubbed. My hair is somewhere between curly and wavy, and it air dried (after brushing easily while wet) with defined, beachy waves and ringlets. This is a really nice product, and I recommend it if you’re looking for a cologne-scented, high-quality shampoo for curly or wavy hair.
NS (Amazon Customer) –
Rich lather
I missed that this shampoo was intended for men when I bought it, so the rest of this review is based on my husband’s experience using it.
He really likes the pleasant smell and the thick rich lather. You do not need to use much at all because it spreads easily and cleans well. The quality feels high, and it has been good for his hair health, leaving his hair looking better defined and moisturized. The value is solid too since a single bottle lasts a long time.
The only drawback is the scent. While it is pleasant, it is a little too strong and takes some time to fade.
Overall, this is a quality shampoo with great performance and lasting value, especially for curly hair.
Christopher Smith (Amazon Customer) –
Worked great on my curly, frizzy hair
This shampoo worked well for my hair type. I have frizzy, naturally curly hair and it helped to enhance my curls and made my hair less frizzy than usual. It’s made in Canada and is silicone, sulfate, paraben and phthalate free. I love that! It says on the front “men” so I was afraid it would have a cologne/manly scent to it, but it really didn’t. Both men and women could use this shampoo. It lathered well and left my hair feeling clean afterwards. I scanned its barcode on my Yuka app (an app that tells me if the ingredients are risky or not)- this shampoo scored a 31 out of a possible 100 points and that is considered a “poor” rating according to the app because of a “moderate risk” ingredient. You have to do your own research on that, but for myself as long as there are no high risk ingredients listed I will still use it. Although, I do wish it had scored a little higher. Overall, I think it’s a high quality hair product and I’m very happy with it.
Teresa A. (Amazon Customer) –
Excellent for my natural curls
I have fine, frizzy, naturally curly hair that is prone to being really dry. This shampoo really moisturized it well without even needing a conditioner, which took me by surprise. I pretty much always require a conditioner, even when using things that claim to be moisturizing. The gel is thick and lathers like a dream, so it takes very little product to get my hair clean. I actually like the scent and don’t find it too heavy at all, which was also a concern. It’s a big bottle and with as little as you need to get the job done it should last quite awhile. I really like this shampoo and am now curious about their other products as well.
V (Amazon Customer) –
Very hydrating curl shampoo!
This is a very nice curl shampoo but I don’t think it should be reserved just for men! Its scent is more masculine, but it’s very fresh smelling, not musky or woody, so the ladies in my household quite liked it as well. This shampoo lathers well and left my hair clean and fresh without weighing my natural curls down at all. My hair feels soft and healthy after use. It’s a pretty big bottle and a little bit goes a long way, so it’s a good value for the price point as well. Highly recommend!

Excellent Shampoo for Curly Hair
This curly hair shampoo has quickly become a favorite. The scent is amazing — clean, fresh, and long-lasting without being too strong. It leaves my hair feeling soft, hydrated, and healthy after every wash.
I really appreciate that it’s sulfate-free and gentle enough for daily use, which helps maintain curl shape and texture without stripping natural oils. My curls look more defined and less frizzy since switching to this, and it feels like a salon-quality product at a fair price.
Made in Canada and clearly formulated with care, this is a top-notch shampoo for anyone wanting to enhance natural curls while keeping hair clean and manageable.

Cannot say enough good things about this product
I cannot say enough good things about this shampoo. I usually use shampoo and then let conditioner sit on my hair awhile to try to moisturize it and get the tangles out. I didn’t even need conditioner! My comb went right through my hair after just this amazing shampoo. My hair feels clean and not weighed down by product. My curls are bouncy and light.
I know it says it’s for men, but I used it anyway. It had a slight scent that may be attached to normal men products, but I liked it and it’s not strong smelling.
My hair feels so light and bouncy and clean!
Customer review (Amazon Customer) –
Bouncy soft curls, a slight masculine scent
I love this CURLOOK curly hair shampoo; it works well on my permed shoulder length hair. It has a great lather, rinses well, and didn’t leave my hair feeling stripped or dry. It pairs well with the conditioner to give my curls bounce without any frizz, and a nice shine. It does have a slightly masculine scent, kind of herbal if that’s important to you, but it doesn’t linger after drying. At the price, it is comparable to other quality sulfate free shampoos, but a little more expensive. I think it’s worth it.
AR (Amazon Customer) –
Lot of product and smells good
Smells good and overall made my hair soft but refined the curls a little better. I’m a woman but the smell is fresh after it’s rinsed out. Lots of product and the quality seems nice.
Mariah Wertman (Amazon Customer) –
Love it for my curly hair
My curls have never been curlier without so little crimping. It smells amazing and it is so light. It did a great job of stripping my hair from oils and grime without actually stripping my hair. It felt light and my hair felt so clean! I have never felt like my hair was fully cleaned or like there wasn’t some sort of left over product on my hair. It doesn’t seem like I have as much breakdown either since using this shampoo but I don’t know if that’s just me being hopeful.

Great for curls
I got this curly hair shampoo for my grandson, who has a head full of curls, and we decided to give it a try. I’m happy to say he really likes it! It makes his hair feel soft, clean, and healthy without weighing it down. His hair looks great!I love that it’s free of sulfates, silicones, dyes, and other harsh ingredients, so it’s gentle on his hair and scalp. The added minerals and plant extracts seem to give his curls nice definition and shine. Overall, it’s a great product and he’s happy with it, and so am I!
Lee (Amazon Customer) –
Great!
The perfect product for cleaning my curly hair. A little goes a long way– only a small amount is needed to lather up. The smell reminds me of Old Spice shampoo. It’s a bit of a heavy fragrance, but not overwhelming. I like it.
R.K. (Amazon Customer) –
The synthetic scent misses the mark for me
This Curlook Curly Hair Shampoo for Men has a lot going for it on paper. The back label proudly declares it’s free of sulfate, silicone, dyes, parabens, DEA, phthalate, GMO, and gluten – a clean sweep of the usual suspects. That’s a strong start for anyone watching their ingredient list.
Performance-wise, it delivers. You only need a small amount to build a rich lather, and it cleanses thoroughly without stripping, leaving curls with noticeable volume and bounce. The formula includes niacinamide, creatine, and PCA-based ingredients like magnesium, manganese, and zinc, which are often used to support scalp and hair health.
But here’s the catch and it’s a dealbreaker for me: the scent. From the moment I pulled the bottle out of the box, I knew it wasn’t going to work. It reminded me of an old anti-perspirant I swore off years ago. Other reviewers call it “musky,” but I’d go further – it’s synthetic and overpowering, and it lingers longer than I’d like. It’s not just a matter of taste; it’s a mismatch with the otherwise clean and gentle formula.
I gave it a fair shot, and while the performance is solid, I’m docking a star. If Curlook ever reformulates with a lighter, fresher scent, I’d reconsider. Until then, this one’s a pass for me but could still work for those less sensitive to fragrance.

Treats curls with respect
My son started using the Curlook Curly Hair Shampoo for Men along with the conditioner, and it’s been working really well for his curls. It’s sulfate-free, so it doesn’t strip the natural oils from hair — instead, it leaves it feeling clean but still soft. His curls look more defined and less frizzy after washing, which is something he wasn’t getting from regular shampoos. It also doesn’t weigh the hair down, so curls keep their shape and volume throughout the day.
The texture of the shampoo is light and easy to lather, even though it’s sulfate-free. It rinses out cleanly without leaving any residue, and he has noticed his scalp feels balanced — not dry or itchy. The scent is subtle and fresh, just enough to make it feel refreshing without being too strong.
What I really like is that it’s made in Canada and feels like it was actually designed with men’s curly hair in mind — simple, effective, and no unnecessary additives. If you’ve got curls and want something gentle enough for daily use, this shampoo is definitely worth trying.
Stacey (Amazon Customer) –
Whoops, I missed that!
The fact that this is for Men was lost in the small print on my screen, but given that I like the classic scent that is pretty common in these products I used it anyways. I was not disappointed.
I recently tried out the shampoo/conditioner/leave in set by Curlook as well, but the women’s version, and this shampoo is better than their yellow bottle one. This one did not dry out my hair, and when I followed it with the women’s conditioner it left my hair feeling nice and yet maintained my 2C waves. The smell is not overpowering when my hair is dry, and did not clash with the fruity-floral scent of the women’s conditioner. The outcome is my hair feels clean, fairly soft, and has pretty defined waves without the addition of any other product. I would choose the men’s formula over the women’s shampoo any day.

Curly Girl Approved!
This shampoo for curly hair really helps me manage my curls. I use it alongside Curllook conditioner. The smell is manly bit it’s not overpowering like some guy products out there, which is great if you are sensitive to strong scents. The shampoo is nice and thick, not runny, so a little goes a long way. It lathers really well and gives my hair a nice shine and well defined curls. Great value for the cost, I would definitely recommend to my curly haired friends!

Great performance though not a fan of scent
Have previously sampled another MENS offering from Curlook and loved it. This one smells entirely like a different animal altogether. Reminds me of old school musk which just isn’t for me.
Its a shame as it performs really well. Lathers great and leaves no residue or oily feeling in my hair. I also appreciate that it’s made in Canada and they put protective plastic not only on the lip of the inside cover but also outside. Very well thought out.
If you like old school musk fragrances you’ll love this but it’s definitely not as unisex as their other offerings in this collection.

3C curl approved
This shampoo has proven to be excellent for my son’s 3C curly hair. He has started using these products and is quite happy with them. Less frizz, even when drying with a diffuser. It doesn’t strip his hair and leaves it soft and moisturized, used alongside the conditioner.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = I love it and/or it meets or exceeds claims.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Hey, this is pretty great. Meets claims, but may be slightly lacking in non-critical area.
⭐⭐⭐ = Meh. It’s okay but I don’t love it. Someone might like it. Falls short in a more noticeable area or not for everyone.
⭐⭐ = Not great. Best to avoid. Very noticeable shortcomings or issues.
⭐ = Nope. This is bad. Does not meet claims or is harmful in some way.

Not a Fan of the Scent
It lathers well and cleans well. No issues there. But I’m not a fan of the scent. It’s very artificial to the point where I can’t really pinpoint another scent to compare it to. The best I can come up with is that it smells like an unpleasant cross between a lemony cologne and a lemony detergent, but like in a suffocating way. It’s almost like the scent of this competes with oxygen and overwhelms the air in the shower, which is somewhat odd because while the smell is somewhat strong, I wouldn’t necessarily describe it as absurdly strong. To me, it’s more so like the smell lacks a sort of lightness and freshness to it that allows you to breathe through it comfortably so you can enjoy it.

Has a musky, male scent, non drying
I accidentally ordered this not seeing that it was made for men. Still decided to try it.
It has that musky, male scent. Not too strong but it does linger so this and the conditioner will be passed on to a man lol
As for how it worked on my shoulder length wavy, frizzy, dry hair:
– it has great slip
– even after applying, I could feel the curl clumps in the shower which was promising
– washed out easily, leaving soft, healthy hair with slip
– had decent lather
Silicone free, sulfate free and paraban free. Great for damaged, color tested hair. Large bottle, great value.

Enhances curls
Lathers well and leaves hair feeling clean with the curls revived. The shampoo scent is tolerable and a little bit of shampoo goes a long way so the bottle is bound to last for a while.

Buy the conditioner too!
I’m hoping I can bring out my son’s curls with this shampoo as I have very flat hair so I never thought to purchase a curly haired shampoo. Don’t forget to get the conditioner as well because if you use the shampoo but then add sulfates back in your hair with the conditioner, you are defeating the whole purpose of curly shampoo. The smell is really nice. So far so good and his hair is starting to look more tame these days, so we will see how it goes!!
Jason R. (Amazon Customer) –
uxurious to use with one downside – it stinks.
The shampoo is really luxurious, it lathers up extremely nicely into a rich foam that makes a little bit of product go a long way and cleans really well without leaving my hair or scalp feel stripped.
The one issue I have with these Curlook products is that they smell bad, like, bad in a very “chemical” kind of way and it permeates it so much that even just handling the bottles leave your hands smelling strangely. It would have been way more pleasant to use if they had masked/perfumed it in way to minimize that scent.

Now He Spends Longer in the Shower Than I Do
I grabbed this to go with the conditioner I got my husband, thinking it might make his curls a bit less frizzy. What I did not expect was for him to emerge from the bathroom looking like he’s about to film a slow-motion hair commercial. His curls are soft, bouncy, and way too smug for my liking.
This shampoo is sulfate-free, smells amazing, and actually makes his hair feel clean without turning it into a puffball. Between this and the conditioner, he’s out here living his best curly-haired life, meanwhile, I’m wondering when I became the side character in The Chronicles of His Perfect Hair.

This is a big bottle, and super easy to squeeze as the material is flexible.
The bottle design is stylish!

But I can say that the smell is awesome, wished I had a boyfriend so he csn use it 😊

Super

Great shampoo for defined, soft curls
This curly hair shampoo left my curls soft, bouncy and frizz-free. It’s sulfate-free, so it cleans gently without drying my hair. The light scent is refreshing, and a little goes a long way. My curls look more defined and healthy after just one wash. Definitely worth trying it!

reasonably priced
This shampoo from Curlook comes in a 400 ml bottle. I like the scent of this shampoo but people who are sensitive should be aware. This shampoo does a decent job in hydrating and also help with tangles and frizzy hair. The current price of $24 CAD is reasonable.

Shampoo for curly hair.
I ordered this for my husband who has naturally curly hair. He likes that it has a pleasant, light masculine scent and that it leaves his curls feeling soft and moisturized without weighing them down. A little goes a long way since it’s concentrated and it suds up well once water is added.
It comes in a large 400ml squeeze bottle, which makes it easy to dispense in the shower. It’s also silicone-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, 100% vegan, and made in Canada, which is always nice to see in a hair care product intended for daily use.
It’s been working well for his curls and he plans to keep using it. Recommended.

My wife loves how soft and light her curls feel now
I bought this shampoo for my wife since she has naturally curly hair and avoids sulfates, and she’s really impressed. Her curls look more defined and have a soft, natural bounce without feeling weighed down. The formula is gentle, free from silicones and parabens, and it leaves her hair smelling fresh and clean.
She noticed less frizz and more volume after just a few washes. It’s also great that it includes plant extracts and minerals for shine and strength. Definitely one of the better curl shampoos out there — safe, effective, and perfect for everyday use.

Curlook Shampoo for Curly Hair – Men
This shampoo has a thick consistency, and smells great, definitely a high quality product. It keeps hair curly, moisturized and easy to style. Worth a try.

Gentle and effective…
It cleanses well without drying the hair, and being sulphate-free makes it gentle enough for daily use. It leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable.

Meh
The shampoo lathers up and works just fine but oh. My. Goodness. The smell is so overkill. The minute it was opened my migraine already started. Way too strong.
I had to literally close this bottle, put it in a bag and open windows. And I don’t mean that rudely but whatever perfume type was used in it was waaaay too strong for me.

Works well.
This Curlook product is branded towards men, but it works really well for women as well. Or at least for my hair.
For context I have 3A curls with some waves and some 3B mixed in depending on what I do on wash day with my hair.
This shampoo lathers really well. It does a great job of washing my curls and scalp and rinses out well without leaving any residue.
I will definitely be purchasing some of the products from this brand again, it works so well for me and I am super happy with it!

Clean
I really like this shampoo; it leaves my hair feeling clean and refreshed. My curls look shiny and feel soft after washing. It smells good, and I’ve had no irritation with it so far.

This is a good shampoo that works well!
My husband has naturally curly hair, and this shampoo really works for his hair type. He says that he wishes the shampoo had a pump for easy dispensing but it is still fine as it is. The product is nice and leaves his hair really soft and clean. He is pleased with this product and says that he wishes it weren’t quite so pricey at the current price of $24. However, he does really like it, and he also loves the fact that it is made in Canada and is free from sulphates, silicones, and dyes.
