Very good price, I literally love my hair after this looks so nice and soft!

A great line of haircare products – I’ve liked all of them a lot!
I’ve ordered numerous CURLOOK hair products and I’ve really liked them all. My hair used to be very curly, but as I got older and as my hair grew longer, it went from curly to just waves and sometimes knotty, unruly ones. This CURLOOK Wavy Hair Conditioner does a great job of making my hair more manageable.

The conditioner is relatively light. Sometimes, conditioners feel heavy and even waxy and difficult to rinse off. This feels light and it rinses out relatively easily. It leaves my hair feeling smoother and easier to brush. It has a nice light scent.

Oh, and it’s also made in Canada. I love buying Canadian products.

Good conditioner, but didn’t do anything special
This is decent conditioner. I don’t know that it really made much of a difference in my wavy hair, compared to other conditioners, but it smells nice and left my hair soft and easy to manage

    Lightweight, Moisturizing Conditioner
This conditioner is a great everyday option if you want soft, defined waves or curls without buildup. It’s silicone-free, so it leaves hair feeling light, bouncy, and clean rather than coated. The formula smooths frizz and adds just the right amount of moisture without weighing hair down. After rinsing, my hair feels hydrated and easier to detangle, and once dry, the waves look more natural and defined. The pump bottle makes it super easy to use, and the fresh, clean scent gives it a nice salon feel. It’s gentle enough for regular use and ideal for anyone looking to maintain healthy, wavy hair with a lightweight, nourishing conditioner.

My hair really grabbed it better than it does 99% of other conditioners.
Wavy Hair Conditioner | Silicone-Free – 400ml (13.5 oz) | Provides Softness & Shine to Define Waves | Made in Canada Curly Hair Products
This is a high quality product that worked wonderfully for my superfine wavy hair. The conditioner is thick and my hair really grabbed it better than it does 99% of other conditioners. My hair was weighted down just a little, but I loved it! My hair stayed in place but didn’t look greasy or oily.
The bottle pump is a little weird but serviceable. It pumps out a small amount so that you have to pump more times that I find to be necessary, so not so easy to use, but thats minor.
The product didn’t make my hair curlier than normal, but I really love the extra weight it added to my hair. The scent is very mild, it reminded me of how Ivory soap used to smell ages ago in the big white bottle.
This is a big 13.5 oz bottle and it will last me 4-5 months of daily hair washing, I think the price is well justified for both quality and quantity.

Soft, shiny, and frizz free hair
I was drawn to this conditioner based on the ingredients and the ingredients it is free from. It has a nice texture, comparable to a regular body lotion, and is easy to distribute throughout the hair. In the bottle, it has a strong, fresh scent, but after use, the smell is very subtle in the hair. I had noticeably more curl and waves than usual after using it, and my hair was very soft and shiny. I used it in conjunction with the coordinating shampoo. The one thing that didn’t work well for my fine hair was that it weighed it down, making it feel oily and “heavier” than usual. The second time I used the conditioner, I followed up with the coordinating styling creme and blow-dried with a diffuser. It made a big difference. My hair was light and full of volume and waves. This conditioner is excellent, and a great value for the money. Consider getting the coordinating shampoo and styling cream; it will give your hair the best results.

A mid range conditioner with a faulty pump nozzle.
Im giving 3 stars because when I tried to remove the plastic seal from the pump, the pump nozzle broke right off. And I was NOT using force to remove the seal. I tried to contact the seller, to inquire about a new pump or product, but I never recieved a reply. So, two stars off for that. The conditioner itself was of decent quality. It did prove slip and softness to my hair. It didnt weigh down my normal-fine hair. It was thick enough to provide moisture, but not so thick as to be hard to apply. The scent is really nice. It reminds me of a mens cologne that would use the words “ocean” or “fresh water”. As for frizz, I still had my normal amount. But I never expect a conditioner, alone, to control frizz. In the end, this isnt a holy grail conditioner, but if theres a sale, it would be a capable daily conditioner. As long as your pump doesnt break!

far fewer frizz and flyaways, smells salon-like
I have wavy fine mostly non gray hair. I used this last night and it has a smell like you’re in a hair salon…. Which was really nice because I haven’t been to a hair salon in years and it’s a delightful scent with positive pampering associations.

I don’t particularly want my hair to be curly, I like the waves… I looked in the mirror the next day after using this and my hair has less frizz than usual and looks tame and pretty. The pump bottle works and I think this will last me a long time, as long as I don’t wash my hair everyday. I’m sure you’ll find better reviews from people who know a lot about hair… I am just a pleb who thinks it made my hair look nice and tame, far fewer flyaways and frizz (there’s some alliteration for you) and i loved the salon smell, made me feel like i was giving myself a much much much needed pampering. im trying to nurture myself more, be more body aware and into the senses more, and this helped.

Lightweight and hydrating for fine, wavy hair
I guess I have what you call “irish curls” where the top layer of my hair is largely straight, and it gets curlier and denser the closer it gets to my scalp. I also color and process it to high heaven and it is very fine. This conditioner is one of the few that can adequately hydrate my damaged fine hair without weighing it down AND gives it some texture and volume to my waves and curls. 🙂 The scent is very light and more like fresh linen or laundry? I do not detect florals or anything overly feminine. Great for fine, thin wavy hair.

  11. Jessica (Amazon Customer)

Good Value Conditioner with Nice Slip

This conditioner worked pretty well for me. I have coarse, thick, curly hair that’s going gray, and I found it had better-than-average slip, making it easy to comb through my hair in the shower. The scent is light and pleasant—I’m sensitive to strong fragrances, but this one didn’t bother me at all.

The pump bottle functions smoothly and dispenses a good amount; I usually use about three pumps for my hair. I also appreciate that it’s made in Canada and silicone-free. Considering the large bottle size, the price feels very reasonable—especially since my usual conditioner costs more. Overall, it’s a solid option and a good value.

    Tames flyaways
I was intrigued by the ingredients, especially the lack of silicon, parabens, and phthalate, and overall I’m happy with CURLOOK wavy hair conditioner. The bottle arrives well sealed, and the pump dispenses a good amount. Those with longer hair may need two pumps. I like the scent, which is light and pleasant and doesn’t compete with other scented products that I use. The formula is a thick cream but rinses well. My hair feels soft after using, but not excessively weighed down. I will say that I don’t really notice anything in the way of curl enhancing from other conditioners I use, but as the weather is changing and our air is getting drier, I do see that I don’t have flyaways typical for the season. For me, that’s a win, especially with the absence of the key no-no’s in the ingredients. I can’t give it 5 stars though, because I’m not seeing more shine or more definition or body to my naturally wavy hair.

    Makes my hair soft
I don’t necessarily have curly hair, but it also isn’t straight. I got this for those days I want to do my hair curly. I opened this last night, removing the seal with a knife. The lid popped off. It would not go back on. I could get it in the slot, but it wouldn’t stay in and depressing it made some come out of the spout and the neck. So, to use this, I have to take off the lid. Pain….. But the conditioner, once I could actually get it applied, made my hair really soft. It smells very good. Left my hair moisturized.

    GREAT QUALITY…… I RECOMMEND!!!
I ordered this wavy hair conditioner, it comes in a 13.5 oz size bottle, with a pump, & the quality is great! It’s easy to use, easy to rinse, very effective, & moisturizers incredibly well. It doesn’t weigh down my hair, & leaves it feeling soft, & well nourished. It has a very pleasant scent, & I absolutely love the smell! At the time of this review, it’s priced at $20, & It’s my opinion that it’s reasonably priced when compared to other comparables at the same quality. I recommend.

Soft wavy hair with no crispy!
Using the shampoo, conditioner and styling cream gave me soft waves with no crispy cast! My hair is a little frizzed out from my own faults (I don’t have a diffuser and also from a bit of bleach damage). My hair feels moisturized and my waves feel fuller. The volume is very nice and no weigh down! The conditioner is easy to use, be careful removing the protective film, I accidentally popped the pump off! But it’s easy to push back into place (Just do it when you plan to use it as popping it back into place will dispense it). My hair feels silky and knot free after using it.

The love the smell, it’s really quite nice and makes the bathroom smell great.

Overall, this seems like a very great value conditioner and I am happy with it. Also, the bottles are a nice size, they fit in the corner of my tub well!

Love this whole line for my hair
I’ve ordered the shampoo, conditioner, and styling cream and I recommend them 100%. I have very thin and damaged hair and these do a world of good on my hair. This conditioner provides hydration to my hair and makes it so soft. It doesn’t weigh down my hair like some conditioners do. I have between 2C/3A curls and this defines my curls. It makes them look beautiful and uniform while still being soft. My hair is very frizzy and these products smooths it out and completely tames my frizz down. It’s expensive but a little goes a long way so this will last me awhile. I feel like it’s a good value for the money considering how well it works.

    Curlook Wavy Hair Conditioner
I have type 2c wavy hair and I’m always on the lookout for wavy specific hair products. I rarely see them in stores. I love how this thick conditioner is free of so many harmful ingredients such as sulfates and parabens. The instructions say to apply this and wait 2-4 minutes before rinsing. So far it’s made my hair softer and more manageable and I will continue to use to see changes. This is a big bottle and should last a long time since I only apply conditioner halfway down my hair. The scent is just okay, it smells reminiscent of ocean and slightly like cucumber.

Extremely hydrating without creating product buildup
I actually really like this conditioner, it works really well for my hair. I have dry, coarse, thick, color treated, 2C-3A hair and its always a bit of a struggle to find conditioner that deals with both the natural dryness and the damage from dying it while not being overly heavy. The fact that this product does not contain silicones seems to help a lot with preventing product buildup and the eventual weighing down of my texture.

This conditioner is fairly thick, opaque, and creamy in feel. It provides a great deal of moisture and hydration without being overly heavy. It washes out clean and actually leaves my hair detangled, which is pretty rare.

This product does have a fragrance to it but it is neither overly strong nor very long lasting. Its fairly neutral in scent and does not hang around.

The bottle size is fairly standard and, as the product is actually quite thick, it lasts quite a long time. So the price is, I think, really reasonable for this conditioner. I will absolutely be reordering when I run out.

Works great and smells even better
I’m loving this Curlook hair conditioner. It has a lovely scent that remind me of a luxury hotel and leaves my hair feeling silky and soft. I find this conditioner to be very good quality for my wavy-straight hair. It doesn’t take much of the product to leave your hair feeling fabulous.

    Relaxed
Having very thick hair has its challenges. Not easy to manage and difficult to work with it. Wasn’t’ sure what to expect being new to the brand. The results turned-out exceptionally well. Hair felt relaxed and moisturized. Simpler to brush and tease. Fruity in fragrance that wasn’t bothering and honestly have a liking to it. Thinking of pairing with the same branded shampoo given the satisfaction received. Size is decent. Found this to be worth the value. Made in Canada.

    Smells nice
My daughter has 2c curls that she is trying to grow back out after a cut. This shampoo is great, smells good, and her hair looks nice and soft after. I know it will take a bit to see the full effect of her curls as they are growing back, but so far I like how this conditioner is helping her hair look with a natural drying process.

  22. MIRCHE (Amazon Customer)

    Love the scent!!
This conditioner works really well on my long 2b/2c wavy hair. It smooths frizz, adds shine, defines my waves, and helps minimize the appearance of damage. I use it along with the wavy hair shampoo and styling cream from the same brand, and I love the whole line. It is highly-scented, with a very perfumey and clean scent profile, and it lingers in my hair all day. This brand has definitely become a new favorite for me!

    Wavy hair conditioner
This is a really good, lightweight, conditioner for wavy hair types. I have a mix of 2b/2c hair- I guess it’s called Irish or celtic curls- curlier underneath and wavy on top. This conditioner really helps to define the curly part and the waves as well. It made my hair shiny and soft, and it smells nice . Rinses out easily in my hard water too, which is always a plus. The pump is easy to use in the wet shower, but takes a lot of pumps to get enough product.

    Softens and Defines Natural Waves
The CURLOOK Wavy Hair Conditioner is great for enhancing natural waves without weighing hair down. The silicone-free formula leaves hair soft, manageable, and shiny while helping reduce frizz. It detangles easily and works well with other styling products. The scent is light and pleasant, and the 400ml size lasts a good while. Overall, it’s a gentle, effective conditioner that helps wavy hair look defined, healthy, and touchable.

    Great conditioner

This Curlook wavy hair conditioner works great. It has a thick consistency that doesn’t weigh my hair down and a light powdery/vanilla cologne scent. It’s very hydrating, it leaves my hair shiny and it leaves my hair softer with less frizz. It does a great job defining my waves and light curls.

Works all Right, Not Moisturizing Enough
Used this in conjunction with the same brand of shampoo, and while it made hair feel a bit softer than the shampoo alone, it wasn’t soft enough or nourishing enough to the hair. The curls aren’t as defined as we would like and it seems to weigh the hair down rather than just make it feel softer and more manageable. The bottle is a nice size, and the fragrance is really lovely. It seems to work for a lot of people, we just didn’t find it to be as good for long naturally curly hair as other brands we’ve tried in the past.

  27. Keith (Amazon Customer)

Not too heavy, so it doesn’t weigh down my curls
I’ve been using this Curlook wavy hair conditioner for about a month now and it does a really good job keeping my wavy curls looking good. I use it two or three times a week, since I have to rotate my conditioners every wash. Unlike some conditioners that flatten my hair and kill my curls, this conditioner promotes them, which is what I want. It doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it look greasy. This conditioner has a minty pine scent, that doesn’t smell like regular conditioners. It’s a very mild scent, that’s even less pronounced than the Curlook shampoo. I’ve found that I need to use a little extra conditioner, as it doesn’t cover as much of my hair, like some other brands. Nonetheless, my hair comes out clean and pretty manageable. It’s easy to brush and style, and it gets my hair moisturized, without it looking oily. My hair feels slightly different after I use this conditioner, but it still feels good. The biggest thing that I’ve noticed is if I skip a couple of days washing my hair, it looks a bit dirtier, if this was the brand I used last. I don’t normally have this problem with my other main brand, but I always wash my hair before socializing, so it isn’t that much of a problem. I’ve found this to now be my second favourite conditioner. I’ve been using my primary brand since the mid-80’s, since it has always worked best for me. I’ve used numerous other brands over the years, but they either didn’t work well for me or they were discontinued. I’m glad I found this conditioner, as it does a good job making my hair look good. If you have long curly or wavy hair, it’s worth giving this conditioner a try. I find it works best when paired with the Curlook shampoo.

A Pleasant Surprise: Curlook Wavy Hair Conditioner Works on Curls Too
I have curly, not wavy, hair, so I went into trying the Curlook Wavy Hair Conditioner with low expectations. Most “wavy” products just aren’t enough for curls that need extra moisture and definition. But I ended up… kind of impressed.

First, the basics: this stuff is silicone-free, so you don’t get that fake, coated feeling after rinsing (if you care about ingredient lists, you’ll appreciate that). The 400ml bottle is a decent value for the price, and the fact that it’s made in Canada adds a nice, “small-batch” vibe, even if the branding is pretty standard.

Applying it to my curls, the texture felt creamy but not heavy, and it slipped through my hair easily. After rinsing, my hair felt soft, not weighed down, and there was a surprising amount of shine, more than most conditioners aimed at curls, to be honest. The scent is light and fades quickly, which I like because it doesn’t compete with any styling products.

As a curly-haired person, am I going to throw out my favourite curly-specific conditioner? Probably not. But Curlook made my hair feel softer and bouncier, and it worked well on day-two hair, too. If you’re a curly girl looking to try something a little lighter, or you just want a conditioner that won’t build up or cause dryness, this is a solid choice. For waves, it’s probably perfect. For curls like mine, it’s surprisingly decent, and sometimes that’s enough to earn a spot on the shower shelf.

  29. ReviewingAvenger (Amazon Customer)

Light on the scalp and hair, smells premium
I got this conditioner together with the Curlook Wavy Hair Shampoo, so I have been using both of them together for better results.

    What I like:
    – the smell, it smells like those products in a salon when you get your hair washed professionally.
    – light on the scalp
    – the hair does feel a little softer after it. Not by much but always better than nothing.
    – AI said that the ingredient list looks safe and nothing seems out of extraordinary – that is always my worry about these products you find on Amazon. I never trust the ingredients they use, but this one seems safe.

    What I dont like:
Honestly, I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and so far so good. Nothing to complain about. It feels more premium than those cheap shampoos from drugstore.

    Great product for curly hair

As a fan of supporting Canadian-made products, I’m happy to support and recommend this conditioner by CURLOOK.

It’s a great product with a lovely scent that isn’t overpowering and the formula feels light enough to avoid weighing down curls and leaves my curls frizz free.

The price at $24 for 400ml is a fair price for a high-end conditioner.

I also appreciate the tamper-proof exterior seal for peace of mind and it’s reassuring to know the product is 100% vegan and cruelty-free in addition to sulfate & paraben free.

    Impressed.

Makes hair soft but I’m not big on the smell
I really really like this conditioner, the consistency is very different from other conditioners. It is almost like a hand lotion consistency, rather than conditioner, which I like. My hair felt sooooo soft after using the shampoo and conditioner. I was already using a curly hair shampoo and conditioner, so I really didn’t notice much of a difference after my hair was dry. I also didn’t find it made my hair any more or less wavy. It is cruelty, free and free of sulphates and of all of those other things so ethically a good company and also has decent ingredients. The only reason I deducted a star is because I really really don’t like the scent and it seems like maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t. It is just musky and smells kind of like a man’s deodorant which for a woman’s shampoo I don’t want to smell like a man and I say this is a woman’s shampoo only because I see they have a specific line for men so you would think this one would smell fruity or flowery or something. Personally, I think that $24 for a bottle so $50 for the set of shampoo and conditioner is way too expensive. I would rather just stick to the $8 stuff that I was already using before this because it gave me a similar result.

  32. Stink-Foot (Amazon Customer)

As awesome as their shampoo. And it’s Canadian!
I already loved the Curlook Wavy Hair Shampoo, so I’m hardly surprised that the conditioner is also totally awesome. It is! I love it. I noticed a difference right away, it leaves my hair feeling soft and full, and I get a lot less frizz than I do without it. It feels like high end conditioner, the kind you can only buy if you’re a licensed pro or salon owner. The scent is subtle, and very nice. It’s not heavily scented, and it doesn’t linger long, but it’s very nice while it does. All of that plus the pump action and the Canadian manufacturer make this one a big win for me. I’ll be back for more of this!

  33. AC (Amazon Customer)

Not for dry hair, probably good for oilier types
My hair is a mixture of both curls and waves, and very dry and thin. I find a lot of curly hair products too heavy for me, so I was hoping catering to my waves might work better, but I really wasn’t a fan on this conditioner.

It’s a fairly thin consistency and smells kind of generically “spa”-esque. For me, it felt really heavy on my hair and like it just sat on top of it and didn’t penetrate it at all. My hair is typically a terrible rat’s nest after shampooing because it’s so dry, and I wasn’t able to detangle it at all, I would have just ripped all my hair out trying. I had to follow up with my regular conditioner to get my hair smoothed out.

I think if you have a more normal or oily hair type this conditioner might be good, but for me it just didn’t work at all.

Doesn’t weigh down my long, wavy hair
I have been using the CURLOOK Wavy Hair Conditioner on my long, wavy hair for about 3 weeks. It has a pleasant scent and feels about medium consistency for a conditioner. It doesn’t build up on my hair, and it doesn’t weigh it down either, which is great for wavy hair. I wash my hair about every 2-3 days. I have been using this conditioner along with the Curlook Wavy Hair Shampoo. My hair feels soft and manageable. This is a good conditioner for wavy hair, maybe not the best one I have used, but still really good.

Defines waves well – doesn’t leave my hair overly soft
Reviewed in Canada on November 15, 2025
Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )
Although I’m not overly impressed with the softness of my hair when I use this; it does a great job at defining my waves with a lot less frizz if I let it air dry.

It’s a lightweight conditioner and doesn’t weigh my hair down at all; the consistency isn’t very thick and although it doesn’t feel like it coats my hair, it does provide a lot of slip.

It is 100% vegan and also:
    ✨ Silicone free
    ✨ Cruelty free
    ✨ Sulphate free
    ✨ Paraben free

Includes niacinamide, creatine, triolein oil, avocado oil, and shea butter + plant extracts to promote hair growth.

It has a nice scent; I don’t find it overpowering or too flowery. It’s great for daily use, I just wish it left my hair a bit softer.

Great for softening, but not much curl definition yet
I’ve used this conditioner a couple of times and it definitely made my hair feel softer and more manageable. It’s lightweight and doesn’t weigh down my waves, which is a plus. That said, I haven’t noticed a huge difference in curl definition so far, my waves still need a bit more help from styling products after washing.

It also smells a bit like hand lotion, which isn’t necessarily bad, just not what I was expecting. Still, for a Canadian-made, silicone-free option, I think it’s a good addition to my routine and I’ll keep using it to see how it performs over time. Will update the review once I’ve had enough time using it to see if it makes a difference curl wise.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the Curlook Wavy Hair Conditioner. The smell is clean and fresh with a perfumey afternote, but not overpowering, and reminded me of the scent of products that salons often use. It made my hair feel clean and soft and I found it was effective at defangling as well. I didn’t notice a difference in the wavy-ness of my hair afterward, but I found it did control the frizz and left my hair feeling and looking soft. I’d recommend this product.

    Light
The conditioner lathers nicely and leaves a light soft result for my natural curl hair.

    Fresh conditioner
I like the way this conditioner makes my hair feel. It isn’t too heavy for my fine hair and rinses out easily enough. I am not a fan of the price point for this and think that it could be more reasonably priced for what you get. Overall the product itself is quite good.

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Wow. I love it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ = This is pretty great.
⭐⭐⭐ = It’s okay but I don’t love it. Someone might like it.
⭐⭐ = Not great. Best to avoid. IMO
⭐ = Nope. This is bad.

Softens and Adds Shine to Wavy Hair
This wavy hair conditioner works well for adding softness and shine to my waves. It’s silicone-free, which I appreciate, and it leaves my hair feeling light and manageable. My waves look more defined without feeling weighed down. Overall, a good conditioner for wavy or curly hair.

Great smelling deep conditioner which leaves your hair feeling salon soft
This product smells absolutely wonderful without being too overpowering. It has a subtle woody scent, almost like a salon-like scent which makes me feel like I just came from the salon.

It works amazingly well on my curly hair, which tends to be dry and frizzy. After using it, my hair feels soft, moisturized, and much easier to manage.

I especially love the pump on the conditioner, which makes it convenient to use, and the bottles are thicker so they don’t ‘suck in’ when the product gets lower. They also look nice on my shelf as the colours are pretty neutral.

No ingredients of high concern based on EWG ratings.

Overall, it’s an excellent product for keeping curls hydrated and healthy while adding a touch of salon quality at home.

    Conditioning conditioner
This conditioner has brought life into my dry and over processed here. I use this after I shampoo with the same brand line and leave it in my hair for a few minutes before I rinse it out. It is perfect for my sometimes out of control wavy hair. I love how it really helps me avoid frizz.

    Great conditioner
This product worked well with my very thick wavy hair. It helps detangle well and left my hair less frizzy and soft. Has a great smell to it as well. Well worth the price!

This conditioner has left my hair so soft and manageable. It smells amazing and the fact that it doesn’t have sulphates, silicone, dyes, parabens or phithalats is more than reason enough for me to love this product , and it also smells fantastic.

    Double Check Ingredients
I really wanted to like this conditioner since it’s silicone free and made in Canada, but my experience was mixed. It does make my hair feel really lightweight and soft, and I like that it doesn’t have a strong fragrance like many other conditioners since it’s much more subtle and pleasant. However, I did have a negative skin reaction after using it. It caused a breakout and a lot of whiteheads on my cheeks, which was really disappointing. The ingredients list has a lot of natural extracts that I didn’t notice at first, so I’d recommend checking carefully for any possible allergens before using. Overall, it works well for hair softness and definition, but if you have sensitive or acne prone skin, use with caution.

    Softens and Adds Shine
This is a decent conditioner that does a good job of softening and add shine to my hair. There is a scent that I find pleasant. Only a small amount of conditioner is needed to get the results you expect. Although this conditioner is meant to define waves, it does a decent job on curls too.

Overall the quality is good and the price is reasonable. I recommend this wavy hair conditioner.
